Perfect Provisions, Inc. is a mobile soup kitchen serving the people of Charlotte. We provide a hot delicious meal all year near the men’s shelter, the women’s shelter as well as an apartment community. Not only is food provided, but clothing and other essential items are provided as well.
We also provide an all year around school a bag lunch once a week they take home for dinner (they also get enough bag lunches for their siblings).
Everyone we come into contact with is treated with love, dignity and respect. We feel this is just, if not more, important than the meal and clothing that is provided.
Proverbs. 21:13. He who shuts his ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in his own time of need.
Barbara Wilder
President
After serving twenty-two years in the United States Army, I retired as a Master Sergeant in 2003. Upon retiring, the Lord gave me the grace to work in various areas of ministry for him. I’ve always had the heart for the ministries of evangelism, missions and helps. One day the Lord spoke to my heart and told me that I would have a soup kitchen. I received this revelation with great joy and excitement.
I started out by buying one week’s worth of groceries while seeking to find families in need. I served with local ministries who fed the homeless and less fortunate in the Indian Trail, Monroe, and Stallings areas. During this time, I was also attending Presbyterian Surgical Technology School (2006). A few years later, in 2011, Perfect Provisions Inc., was birthed, but was not in full operation. I sought the Lord for one year solid, fasting and praying, asking the Lord for his will to be done with concept and business he had given to me.
Without a doubt, I was given this calling by the Lord, for this city and the surrounding area. After nearly eight years of consistent missionary work and creative ministries, I’m looking towards the next chapter of where the Father is going to take Perfect Provisions, Inc.. I have so much passion for the people and a great love for Jesus Christ.

Debbie Pickett
Treasurer
Hi, my name is Debbie Pickett. I am currently the Treasurer for Perfect Provisions Soup Kitchen. I have been volunteering with Perfect Provisions since March, 2013. At that time I was looking for a ministry to volunteer with and came across Perfect Provisions Soup Kitchen. Shortly thereafter I began meeting Barbara at her house and helped make brown-bag dinners for the homeless children at Thomasboro Academy. It has been four years now and I am truly blessed to have been a part of this ministry and to watch it grow into what it is today. Perfect Provisions pours out love on the homeless and less fortunate. It is the hands and feet of Jesus Christ!
